CSS-45 Remote Spectral Detector
For photopic and scotopic illuminance, S/P Ratio, EVE factor, luminous color, color rendering index and light spectrum and flicker
Measures 28 different spectral light, color and effective radiometric/photometric measurands
Gigahertz-Optik GmbH's CSS-45 packs the full power and capability of a spectroradiometer into a compact splash proof metal housing only 1.75" dia x 2" high in size.
Expanded Visible Spectral Range per CIE S023
The CSS-45 covers the entire visible spectral range between 360 nm and 830 nm (visible spectral range according to CIE S023).
Accurate Measurements over a Wide Dynamic Range
An optical bandwidth correction function based on CIE 214 further improves the quality of the measured values.
Manual and auto gain settings enable a wide measurement range from 1 lx to 350,000 lx for illuminance and color measurements.
Automatic dark current suppression is accomplished by means of a built-in electronic shutter.Accurate illuminance measurements require a precise, cosine-corrected entrance optic. The CSS-45 has an excellent cosine response (f2≤ 1.5 %).
Single or Multi-Detector Use
Both USB 2.0 and RS485 interfaces are standard to permit fast communications with the device at longer distances for remote applications plus single and multi-detector networks. The USB interface handles the power requirements.
User & SDK Software Supplied
The spectral detector head attaches to a PC via a one meter long USB cable. All measurement, data readout and collection are controlled by the supplied S-CSS-45 software. Plus the S-SDK-CSS-45 software development kit is included for self-programmers.
Every CSS-45 comes calibrated and certified by Gigahertz-Optik's calibration laboratory that is accredited by DAkkS (D-K-15047-01-00) for spectral responsivity and spectral irradiance calibrations according to ISO/IEC 17025.
- CSS-45-Meter that connects to the CSS-45 for direct readout
- Protective dome over the top of the detector for weatherproofing
Additional CSS-45 Specialist Functions:
- Horticultural lighting - PAR measurement Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density (PPFD) in μmol/m²s
- Human Centric Lighting - melanopic irradiance and illuminance, melanopic daylight equivalent illuminance
- Phototherapy - total irradiance for bilirubin, Ebi, in mW/cm2 (IEC 60601-2-50) as well as average spectral irradiance in μW/cm2/nm (American Academy of Pediatrics)
